For this project we were allowed to choose a site anywhere in the continental U.S to house our 32,000 SF program of a television studio including office, produciton, and supplemental spaces. We chose our site in the Historic Warehouse district of Raleigh in order to capture a predestrian heavy contect, build upon the historic warhouse venacular, and provide views into downtown Raleigh.

Our parti consited of an office block situated on S. Dawson, a busy four lane road, to provide a noise buffer for what would become our production studios. The second mass was shifted to allow for pedestrian entry in the front, service entry on the NW side, and vehicular entry in the back.
