During this project we worked with the staff of the NC State Veterinary Campus to design a new swine facility to house the pigs and a Teaching Animal Unit where classes and lectures are held. The focus of my project was attention to circulation whether it be pedestrian, service, or pig and also passive heating and cooling systems working with geothermal control systems and utilizing heat gain and wind control.
